I built a Digital Signage system for the College of Engineering at San José State University. I built the system using open source tools and an extensible, and easily updatable back-end control system. The Signage can be updated with any web enabled device (including a web enabled phone, like an iPhone). The Signage supports full 1080p video, and is fully web enabled (meaning it can download data from any web service and display it on the signage). The system currently downloads current weather data from yahoo's weather api.

The website you are on now, was built using the Drupal Web CMS. The UI was modeled in Maya, and edited in photoshop. The theme/template is completely custom. This site incorporates video, a taxonomy system, and images of my work.

This is the website of my current fulltime employer. This site integrates a variety of content, including video, photos, flash, calendar of events, and a large database of different formatted content (publications, news articles, scholarships, blogs, faculty profiles, etc.). The site was built entirely by me, and has evolved into a very large site.

Some key features:
The front-page flash advertisement rotates images, and randomly re-loads on every visit. This simple app also builds a tabbed UI on content regeneration.

This site is a personal project for my own wedding. It was put up to showcase all that is and was my wedding. After the wedding was over we posted all of the photos to a gallery of heavily tagged and organized photos. Clicking on a tag narrowed down particular image content types. The site also integrates google maps, vimeo embedded video, and a poll (data submission point). Prior to the wedding the site also housed an RSVP form to allow our guests to submit their RSVP info online. It's a very simple site, but it gave my wife and me a great springboard to share our story.

This website was built using the Drupal Web CMS with a very minimal installation base (minimal modules). It uses a custom theme as a foundation to build the design and layout. In the future this site will implement community features, like visitor image uploading and commenting, but right now it's a very simple site. With one major purpose, to tell people what Bicycle Express is all about. I also took photos located at this site, and integrated them into the design layout.
